FAQ’s

  • Hi I'm Quiet Son, a producer & mixing engineer based in LA. After earning an audio engineering degree in 2015, I’ve been fortunate to work as a producer for the last 10 years.

Currently, I'm an in-house producer for Grass Fed Music while also working freelance with independent artists. I’ve worked with labels like Republic, Def Jame and Capitol. My work has been nominated for multiple Hollywood Independent Music Awards and has been featured in Consequence of Sound, Popdust, Paste Magazine and YourEDM.

  • My philosophy as a producer is to create an extremely collaborative and open environment. Creating music is vulnerable work: I listen to each artist’s needs with empathy, and work alongside them as a creative partner to build a song or album that brings what the artist hears in their head to life.

I’m not the type of producer who will ever tell an artist what to do: the artist is in the drivers seat, while I’m there to help them achieve their vision.

Lastly, I value long-term creative relationships with the artists I work with. While I love getting to create music everyday, building community is a huge part of my work.

  • I produce in a range of styles, but specialize in alt pop, bedroom/art pop, electronica, folk and experimental pop. I love combining experimental cinematic elements with pop-forward sound.

If you’re an artist / band like the following artists then I’m a great fit for you:
